Legal terms and conditions for raffles and contests

On this page you will find the legal bases of all raffles and contests organized by the Fundació Zoo del Pirineu. Our commitment is to guarantee that each promotion is carried out with total transparency, legality and respect for the participants.

If you have participated (or are thinking of participating) in any promotional action on our social networks, here you can consult the applicable general conditions and your rights.

1. Organizing entity

The organizer of the raffles and promotional contests is Fundació Zoo del Pirineu, with VAT number ESG25844416 and domiciled in Odèn (Lleida), Ctra. L-401, km 35,6.

2. Participation

All persons over 18 years of age may participate, unless otherwise indicated in each promotional action. Minors may participate only with the express authorization of their legal guardians.

3. Mechanics and types of promotion

Raffles

In the raffles, the winner is chosen randomly, using external digital tools or verifiable manual selection. The date of the sweepstakes and the conditions for participation (e.g. commenting on a post, following an account, etc.) will be communicated.

Contests

In contests, the winner is selected based on merit criteria, which may include:

  • Number of «likes» or votes in social networks.
  • Evaluation by a jury appointed by the Zoo of the Pyrenees.
  • Fulfillment of established creative or participation requirements.

The criteria will be detailed in each contest. We reserve the right to cancel fraudulent or suspicious votes.

4. Awards

Each promotional action will include the description, value and conditions of the prize. The prize is not redeemable for cash or any other product, unless otherwise indicated. The winner must claim his/her prize within the time period indicated in each action.

5. Communication of winners

Winners will be contacted by private message or public announcement, as indicated in the promotion. If they do not respond by the deadline, the prize will be passed to an alternate or will be forfeited.

6. Data Protection

The personal data collected will be processed by the Fundació Zoo del Pirineu only to manage the promotion. You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition by writing to comunicacio@zoodelpirineu.org.

We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (RGPD) and the LOPDGDD.

7. Responsibilities

The Fundació Zoo del Pirineu is not responsible for technical problems, human error or fraud in the participation. We reserve the right to modify, suspend or cancel a promotion if necessary due to force majeure.

8. Acceptance of the bases

Participation in any of our promotions implies full acceptance of these legal bases. We reserve the right to disqualify anyone who does not respect them.

9. No linkage with social networks

Unless otherwise stated, our promotions are not sponsored, endorsed or administered by Meta (Facebook/Instagram), X, TikTok or any other social network. These platforms are exonerated from all liability.
