Frequently Asked Questions from Donors

What is the difference between a one-off donation and a recurring donation?

  • One-off donation: you make a single contribution, whenever you wish.
  • Recurring donation: you give a fixed amount every month or year as a member or sponsor.

Can I always claim tax relief on my donations?

  • Yes, if you pay Income Tax in Spain and need to file a tax return (IRPF).
No, if you do not file a tax return or if the Spanish Tax Agency (Hacienda) owes you a refund.
  • Important note for international donors:
Tax relief rules apply to Spanish taxpayers. If you live outside Spain, your ability to claim tax benefits will depend on the laws of your own country.

How will I receive my tax certificate?

  • Donación puntual: si lo solicitas, lo recibirás por correo electrónico en un máximo de una semana tras tu aportación.
  • Recurring donation: we send it automatically at the beginning of the following year, including all your donations — even if you have stopped collaborating during the year.
