Work with us and be part of a team that cares for injured, abandoned, or abused wild animals.
It’s not just any job: it’s the opportunity to turn your calling into real action, giving meaning to every day with work that transforms lives, including your own.
Student placements
If you’re a student looking for a meaningful and hands-on experience, this is your chance to make a real difference.
You’ll get directly involved in animal care, visitor interaction, and the daily operations of a wildlife rescue centre.
Volunteering
Join our team as a volunteer and support us in key areas such as animal care, communication, administrative support, or building new enclosures.
We’re looking for committed volunteers aged 18+, willing to help for at least 4 weeks.
Why work with us?
Because here you transform lives.
Every task, big or small, helps an animal recover, a person learn to respect nature, or a story inspires action.
It’s an opportunity to grow, contribute, learn, and build a professional life aligned with your values.

Here your voice counts and your impact is recognized
In strategic meetings, each team member can propose new activities or improvements.
If your proposal is approved and you successfully execute it, you receive 10% of the net profit it generates.

Constant and transversal learning
Every day is different. Here you learn about wildlife, education, dealing with people, dealing with unexpected events, and about yourself.
Everything you experience while working with us will help you grow professionally and personally.

Natural and living environment
You’ll work surrounded by nature, fresh air, and wild animals that will remind you every day why you chose this path.
It’s not about being in the office. It’s not about having a boring routine. It’s about a transformative experience.

Committed human team
You will be accompanied by a group of people who truly believe in what they do.
Here we work as a team, we share, we celebrate, and we also overcome difficulties.
We don’t just share tasks — we share purpose.
Work with us:
find your place in our team
At the Zoo of the Pyrenees Foundation, each person contributes something different, but we all share the same mission: to protect wild animals and educate those who come to meet them.

If you are motivated by caring for wild animals:
You will be with them, helping with their recovery and daily well-being.

If you know how to tell stories with words or images:
Your work on social media, videos, or photography will give a voice to those without one, and will connect thousands of people with their story.

If you are into putting things in order and providing solutions:
Your work in administration and management makes everything work and keeps the machinery that supports everything else alive.
It doesn’t matter where you come from. What matters is what you’re willing to contribute. If you have attitude, humility, and commitment, this could be the place for you.

Essential attitudes for working with us
We’re looking for people eager to work, learn, and give their best.
If you want to be part of the team, these attitudes are essential.
Execution
Here, it’s not enough to have ideas: you have to put them into action. We’re looking for people who make things happen.
Trust
In yourself, in your team, and in the fact that together we are capable of moving forward and overcoming any challenge.
Community
Work as a team with your teammates and respect other people’s opinions.
Empathy
With animals, with people, with yourself. Empathy isn’t weakness: it’s human strength.

Your level of studies
It depends on the position: in some it is essential, in others it is not.
If you’re still studying, you can do your work placement with us.
