2. Purpose of donations
Fundació Zoo del Pirineu offers, through this website, the possibility of making donations in the “Help Us” and “Donations” sections. Donations can be one-time or recurring (annual or monthly) and will be used for:
- Feeding and caring for the animals that live in our refuge.
- Rescue and veterinary care for animals in need.
- Release of wild animals rescued and/or raised at the refuge.
- Environmental conservation projects.
- Environmental education aimed at educational centers.
- Maintenance, adaptation and expansion of the refuge facilities.
3. Minimum donation and required documentation
A minimum donation of €1 is established.
In accordance with current anti-money laundering legislation, donations of amounts of €100 or more require the donor to send us:
Natural person:
- Name and surname.
- Identification Number.
- Residential address.
- Email.
Companies:
- Full name of the entity.
- VAT number.
- Fiscal address.
- Email.
4. International donations
Our virtual platform allows us to accept donations from all over the world.
5. Type of donations
Donations can be periodic (annual, monthly) or one-time.
6. Cancellation of donations
- The Foundation does not accept cancellations or refunds of one-time donations.
- A donation cannot be refunded once payment has been completed.
- Regarding recurring donations, cancellations will be accepted, provided they are notified 15 days in advance.

7. Ways to make the donation
Users can make donations to the Fundació Zoo del Pirineu using various payment methods:
Credit card
From our “Donations” website
You will be asked for your credit or debit card details using a maximum security system that guarantees the integrity and confidentiality of the information provided.
- Banc Sabadell payment gateway
- PayPal
- Stripe secure payment platform
Bizum
If you pay via Bizum, your payment will be processed via Banco Sabadell’s “Smart Phone & Sell” service to the phone number specified on the website using your usual platform.
Bank transfer
You can make your donation via bank transfer to the Fundació Zoo del Pirineu account.

Fundació Zoo del Pirineu reserves the right to accept or reject a donation. The Foundation will not accept donations from illegal sources, criminal associations or organizations, or donations that affect the Foundation or its projects.
Direct debit
In this case, you must provide your IBAN and the account holder to zoopirineu@gmail.com, along with the exact amount you wish to donate, and whether it’s a one-time or recurring donation. The IBAN can usually be found on your savings account or in the private area of your online banking service.
We will instruct our bank, which will charge your account for the amount and frequency you indicate via the donation/membership registration form on the website.
For recurring donations, the corresponding standard SEPA Direct Debit form will be sent so we can transfer the amounts you indicate to your account at the frequency you have chosen.
8. Response after making the donation
Once your donation has been processed, you will be redirected to the donation confirmation page.
Donation certificate
If you have filled out your donor information and confirmed that you wish to receive the Donation Certificate, you will receive a donation certificate to the email address provided on the form.
We remind you that all donations made to the Fundació Zoo del Pirineu by a donor who is a tax resident in Spain are eligible for tax relief:
- In personal income tax (if the donor is a natural person)
- In the IS (if the donor is a legal entity)
In the case of donations from abroad, tax treatment will be subject to the laws of each country.
9. Data processing
By using the Foundation’s website to send a donation, you confirm that you have read and accepted both this donation policy and our Privacy Policy.
Fundació Zoo del Pirineu informs you that your personal data and any updates you make will be processed by the entity in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of April 27, 2016, on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and, subsidiarily, in any matters not regulated, Royal Decree 1720/2007 of December 21, which approves the Regulation implementing Organic Law 15/1999 of December 13, on the protection of personal data. Therefore, it informs you of the following points:
The purpose of collecting and processing this data is to process the donation and provide the corresponding tax certificate.
The legitimacy of the processing is based on the consent of the interested parties.
Regarding data retention criteria, data will not be retained longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, unless there is a legal obligation.
Regarding the communication of data, these will not be communicated to third parties, except by legal obligation.
We inform you that, as an interested party, you have the right to: withdraw your consent at any time; exercise your right to access, rectify, transfer, and erase your data; and exercise your right to restrict or object to processing. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency in the event of non-compliance by the entity.

11. Law and jurisdiction of the donation policy
Both parties are governed by the laws of the Spanish State and submit to the jurisdiction of the competent Courts and Tribunals of the city of Solsona.
In the event that any of the clauses of this Donation Policy are declared void, the remaining clauses will remain in effect and will be interpreted taking into account the intention of the parties and the purpose of the clauses.
